2012

February 15th, 2012 by Russell

So, what have I been up to? Well the new property project is slowly taking shape, inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright’s masterpiece, “Fallingwater”. Google it! I now have over twenty pieces of spin-art and am now making contact with galleries, to see if I might be able to sell them! If nothing else, we need the space at home! Each canvas is 1-metre squared and some of them are as big as 2-meter squared, so they take up a lot of room. The tower is taking up huge amounts of my time; you can imagine the kind of maintenance a 90-foot stone listed water tower takes! Am excited about a project we are working on for Act 4 Africa, which could see us filming in Uganda. Am also in the process of setting up a new JV with some digital partners – we have some software we’ve developed which we believe is going to revolutionise online shopping.

New Beginnings

Well the holidays are over and my feet are well and truly back under my desk. Having spent some 3 weeks touring Europe, I have a mountain of work to get through. Am looking out the window of my office, some 60 feet above the verdant Cheshire countryside, with the rain falling and the farmer ploughing his fields, I know winter is just around the corner! My new website has gone live and am pretty chuffed with it! Am pretty busy on the work front, as have a few new projects on the go.

Very excited about our first WebTV offering which goes live in November. At home, life is just as busy, especially as we now have a new addition to the family in the form of  Henry the Tibetan Terrier! Am recovering (slowly) from my bike accident: nursing a broken coccyx and a fractured lumbar 1 vertebrae. Ouch!
